Delete your patient account

1From the app

Open the «Basmtak Clinics: Patient» app and sign in at your clinic. Tap My account (the person icon at the top, or the tile on Home), then «Delete my account», and confirm. The same steps work in the web patient portal your clinic sent you.

2What happens straight away

Your request goes to your clinic's data-request log. You are signed out on every device, the app's notifications to your phone stop, and the app keeps no copy of your file on the phone.

3What is deleted and what is kept

Your clinic carries out the deletion: your sign-in, devices and contact details for the portal are removed. Your medical record (visits, charts, prescriptions, consents) and invoices are kept by the clinic for the period Saudi law requires for health records and tax invoices, then deleted; they are no longer shown to you in the app.

4Without the app

You can also ask your clinic's front desk to delete your account, or write to us from the contact page naming your clinic; we pass the request to the clinic, which is the controller of your data.

5How long it takes

Clinics handle requests under the Personal Data Protection Law; you are told when the request is carried out or, if it cannot be, why.
