Terms of service

The agreement between the clinic that opens an account and Clouds Line for Information Technology about the use of Basmtak Clinics.

Last updated: 2026-10-17

1The service

Basmtak Clinics is a cloud service for running a clinic: scheduling, the clinical record, billing, insurance, the patient portal and reports, according to the subscribed plan. It is provided as described on the features and pricing pages and is updated continuously.

2The account

An account is opened by a person authorised by a licensed healthcare facility in the Kingdom, who is responsible for the account's users, their permissions and the confidentiality of sign-in details. New accounts may be reviewed before activation. Clouds Line may suspend an account that breaches these terms or the law after notice, unless immediate suspension is required.

3Subscription and billing

Prices are on the pricing page: per branch per month, on an annual or monthly term, exclusive of VAT, with every active practitioner above the included ones billed at the plan's rate. The trial is 14 days with every feature and no card. An upgrade applies at once and a downgrade at the next renewal. Every payment receives an electronic tax invoice.

4The clinic's data

The clinic's data and its patients' data belong to the clinic. The clinic grants Clouds Line the right to process it to provide the service only, under the privacy policy and the data-processing agreement. The clinic can export its data at any time, and on termination.

5The clinic's responsibility for the medical record

The system is a tool for documentation and organisation; the clinical decision and the content of the record are the responsibility of the licensed practitioner and the clinic. The clinic complies with the Kingdom's health regulations on documentation, retention, consent and advertising, and warrants that what it enters is accurate and authorised.

6Integrations with authorities

E-invoices are sent to the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority in the clinic's name and unit, and insurance transactions are sent to NPHIES in the clinic's name and licence and on its instruction. The clinic is responsible for the accuracy of its registration data with these bodies; Clouds Line is responsible for transmitting what the clinic entered faithfully and keeping what was sent and received.

7Acceptable use

The system is not used to process data the clinic has no basis to process, to send messages the law does not allow or the recipient has not agreed to, or to attempt access to another account's data. The partner API is used within its documentation and limits.

8Availability and support

We aim for round-the-clock availability and publish the status on the system-status page. Planned maintenance is announced in advance. Support is available from inside the system and from the contact page on working days. An outage beyond our control carries no compensation beyond the subscription value for the duration of the outage.

9Termination and data export

The clinic may end its subscription at any time from the office screen; the service continues to the end of the paid period. After termination the data remains available for export for a set period and is then deleted, except what regulations require us to keep. Clouds Line may end the service on reasonable notice with a refund of the unused subscription.

10Changes and governing law

These terms may be amended; an amendment is announced on this page and inside the system before it takes effect. These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.

For any question about this page write to us from the contact page; we answer within a working day.
